Leitz Leica E39 39mm metal Summicron lens cap original vintage

Description

I have an original, vintage, standard E. Leitz Leica metal lens cap to fit over lenses with E39 39mm lens fronts and filters such as the 50mm Summicron f/2.  The cap is in very good user condition, and the felt liner is in good condition on the cap.  It does show some light scratching and polish from use and bag wear, but is in excellent condition.
The cap measures 42mm inside, with the felt taking up the fit to E39.  Whether it's a tight fit or a loose fit, I have no idea as I have no more Leitz E39 lenses any longer.
The item will be carefully packed for it's safety, and shipped with insurance and signature required.
