ANTIQUE CHINESE PORCELAIN PLATES *RARE BLUE GLAZED DISH PAIR* -FRESH ESTATE FIND

Description

Rare pair of beautiful Chinese blue glazed dishes. Both with blue underglaze marks.
Bottom mark may help the educated buyers determine the exact age of these.
They measure 1-1/8” H x 5-3/4” W. (2.858cm H x 14.605cm W).
Condition...
One dish is excellent overall. The other has 2 small rim chips and a few minor frits to rim. The larger chip shown in picture. This dish also has a Chinese character etched onto its face.
Both have old shop tags from the famed FONG INN Chinese Antiques Shop in Honolulu Hawaii. Shop was in business from 1915-1950. This is fantastic provenance to have, as Mr. Inn helped to supply some important collections and museums during his years in business. (We have a few other items from this same collection listed now!)
Stands not included.
Have not found any comparable pieces! They could be incredibly rare! Auction determines final value. Good luck my friends!

All pictures for this listing taken outdoors - mid day in natural light. No filters, no editing. Indoors, the plates have a dark lavender tone to them. Incredibly beautiful! If you would like some indoors pictures, please send me a message i will be glad to share.
The bottoms both have old tape adhesive remnants. Could probably be cleaned/removed. We have not tried to clean these in any way. They were simply wiped off for the listing.

Also- we have stated one plate in excellent condition, however- a very small fleabite to rim has been discovered with magnified inspection. About the size of a pencil tip. Message me if you need a picture of it. Thank you!
