    Description

    An Antique Pair of Chinese Daoquang Mark & Period Celadon Dishes, 19th C, Qing Dynasty
    Up for auction is an antique pair of shallow Chinese celadon dishes of the Daoquang period, bearing the mark of the era.  The celadon dishes show signs of aging.  It's hard to acquire a matching pair of antique dishes, but even rarer is finding marked dishes, like these.  The glaze is glossy and smooth, and the porcelain is
    heavy. These pieces would be nice to display for their nice color.
    The wooden stands are not included in the sale. They are for display only.
    Condition Report
    Overall, the celadon dishes are pre-owned and are in
    good
    condition. However, each dish has a single hairline crack on its rim.  Additionally, one of the dishes has an old, very minor chip on the rim.
