Antique 18C Encre de Chine Plate with COUPLE IN LOVE Qianlong
Description
Lovely encre de chine plate with a central scene of a man and a woman in what seems the be a love scene. The are situated in what seems to be an alley. To the right the side of a house is visible, to the left an fence. The wall with a 'spearhead border', the border with gilt en red flowering sprees. Base undecorated.
Pictures in natural light have been added because in the studio it was difficult to show the real beauty of the piece.
